As an entrepreneur and business leader, I understand the importance of setting goals and pushing yourself to achieve them. But more than just a personal challenge, I'm thrilled to be using my upcoming Run for Freedom HK5Trails to support two incredible charities that make a positive impact in our community.
Recently, I was invited to appear as a guest on the Trail Runners Association of Hong Kong podcast, where I discussed my upcoming challenge and the journey that led me to it.
I've always had a passion for staying active, and trail running has become an integral part of my fitness journey. I've found solace and a sense of freedom on the trails, and it's been a huge source of motivation for me to keep pushing my limits and taking on new challenges.
That's what led me to the Run for Freedom HK5Trails. This five-day challenge will take me through some of the most scenic and challenging trails in Hong Kong, and I'll be doing it all to raise awareness and funds for two charities that are close to my heart.
1st Steps HK provides vital support to people with disabilities, helping them lead full and active lives. Tails Lantau, on the other hand, rescues and cares for dogs and cats in need, providing them with a second chance at life.
During the podcast, I discussed my experience training for the Run for Freedom challenge, the obstacles I've had to overcome, and the mental and emotional journey that comes with such a grueling physical challenge. But more than just that, I talked about the impact that this challenge can have on the wider community, and why it's so important to give back and support those in need.
As an entrepreneur and business leader, I know that success isn't just about what you achieve for yourself - it's also about the impact you have on the world around you. That's why I'm so passionate about using my platform to make a difference, and I hope that my story and journey will inspire others to do the same.
So if you're looking for a new challenge, or if you just want to hear more about my experience, I encourage you to listen to the Trail Runners Association of Hong Kong podcast. With every step I take on the trails, I hope to make a positive impact in the world - and I hope that you'll join me in that mission.
I hope this post inspires others to take on new challenges and give back to their communities!
