Entrepreneurs of Lantau: Unveiling Our Inaugural Monthly Venture🚀

Reflecting on a Night of Connection, Laughter, and Entrepreneurial Spirit

Hey there, it's Jo Lodder, co-founder of Entrepreneurs of Lantau with Jerome de Clarens and the proud face behind JNW Properties and the Run for Freedom movement. What a night we had! I'm still buzzing with excitement as I sit down to share the incredible experience we had at our recent event.

The Night Unveiled:

The anticipation had been building up, and finally, the big day arrived. Our inaugural event featuring the legendary Bey Logan was nothing short of spectacular. As entrepreneurs and visionaries from Lantau gathered, we knew we were about to witness something special.

Laughter and Legends:

Bey Logan, a true icon in the Hong Kong Kung Fu Cinema world, took the stage and held us captive with his tales of being a 'Gweilo' in the midst of this mesmerizing world. His stories of collaborating with martial arts legends, including the incomparable Jackie Chan, brought laughter and awe to the room.

A Melting Pot of Talents:

But the magic didn't stop there. Our gathering showcased the diversity and brilliance that Lantau's entrepreneurial community is made of. From a China Travel show host to a breathwork specialist, a French newspaper editor to educators, coaches, environmental champions, and even a sexologist - the range of talents was astounding.

Venue Magic:

Huge shoutout to Solomon and Bess from Leeder Quay for opening their doors and hosting us in their beautiful space. Their generosity and warmth set the perfect backdrop for an evening of connection.

Delightful Indulgence:

And oh, the treats! Novy's Kitchen brought in a spread of exquisite Indonesian snacks that tickled our taste buds, perfectly paired with beautiful wine. It's moments like these that remind us how much beauty and flavour life holds.

New Friends, New Insights:

But what truly made the night extraordinary were the conversations. As we shared stories and experiences, we delved deeper into what makes us tick, what ignites our passions, and how our businesses are driven by purpose. I left that evening with newfound insights and a greater appreciation for the diverse tapestry of Lantau's entrepreneurial landscape.

A Lasting Impact:

Looking back, I'm filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of such an inspiring community. We're not just entrepreneurs; we're a collective force fueled by passion, creativity, and the shared desire to make a positive impact.

Run for Freedom's Vision:

Speaking of impact, our event went beyond networking; it carried the spirit of giving. Together, we raised an impressive HKD 1,200 for Run for Freedom, a movement close to my heart. Run for Freedom isn't just about running; it's about creating change and empowerment, especially for disabled individuals in Hong Kong. As we move forward, I can't wait to see how the connections made that night will flourish into collaborations, partnerships, and perhaps even friendships. Entrepreneurs of Lantau is more than just a network; it's a platform for growth, learning, and the celebration of each other's journeys.

Jo Lodder is a trail runner, business leader, and philanthropist. He's the co-founder of JNW Asia, a property marketing company based in Hong Kong focused on Niseko projects, and a master agent of SnowDog, a hospitality brand. He's also became the first person in history to complete the HK5Trails in Hong Kong with the Run for Freedom challenge to raise money for charity. With a passion for helping others and a drive for success, Jo inspires through his love of adventure and entrepreneurship.
