Join Dr. Andy Cornish, for a fascinating dive into the evolution of nature conservation in Hong Kong. Reflecting on his 20+ years in the field, Andy will guide us through four key phases of his career: starting with reef fishes at HKU in 1996, an life-changing year in American Samoa, his impactful tenure as WWF-HK's Conservation Director—where he led notable projects like the 2012 trawling ban, and his current work spearheading major conservation initiatives and advising on Hong Kong’s next master conservation plan.

This engaging talk will provide a unique perspective on the past, present, and future of Hong Kong’s environmental efforts, revealing the big themes of upcoming conservation strategies and what they mean for the city and beyond.
